Built in 1896 by architect John W. Gaddis, the house served as the residence of Dr. Nelson Wilson, a local dentist who practiced until his death in 1895.
The house incorporates Masonic Cross patterns on its side porches, reflecting the Freemasonry connections of both Dr. Wilson and architect Gaddis.
Located at 103 E. National Highway, this historical residence received recognition on the National Register of Historic Places in June 2008.
Unlike standard Eastlake architectural practices that use wooden stickwork, this house utilizes brick patterns to create its decorative elements.
