Robert Walton Goelet built this structure in 1932 on the site of a former mansion belonging to his family. The project transformed that location from residential to commercial use.
The lobby displays the Goelet family crest and incorporates six different types of marble sourced from around the world. This mix of fine materials creates an impressive first impression for anyone entering the building.
