The Clement House spans 17,000 square feet and features 20 rooms, including a music room with two Steinway grand pianos and a pipe organ.
Built in 1913 by architect Edward Brodhead Green for Stephen and Carolyn Clement, the mansion replaced the previous Tripp residence from 1855 at 786 Delaware.
The property transitioned from a private residence to a community center in 1941 when the Clements donated it to the Western New York Chapter of American Red Cross.
The mansion underwent major restoration work in 1999 to maintain its historical elements while adapting the spaces for modern organizational needs.
In 2017, the mansion established a partnership between the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Red Cross, creating a shared space for both organizations.
