Samkha Kshetra

Samkha Kshetra is a pilgrimage sanctuary in Odisha with a distinctive circular geographical layout containing multiple temples and prayer areas. The various structures are arranged concentrically, creating a unique religious landscape.

According to legend, the god Vishnu brought his sacred conch symbol to this location after a battle against a demon. This made it one of four major holy regions throughout the state.
