Santa Maria de La Salette, Gothic Revival church in central Catania, Italy.
The church features a symmetrical facade built with reddish bricks from volcanic stone, decorated with white limestone pointed arches and a rose window.
Cardinal Giuseppe Benedetto Dusmet initiated the construction in 1872, but the church suffered severe damage during World War II bombings in May 1943.
The church celebrates its main religious festival on September 19th with processions through neighborhood streets, prayers, music performances, and firework displays.
