Yemelyan Pugachev House Museum, Historic house museum in Oral, Kazakhstan
The wooden residence holds artifacts, documents, and personal belongings related to the 18th-century peasant uprising leader Yemelyan Pugachev.
Originally owned by Peter Kuznetsov, the house became a crucial location during the peasant rebellion of 1773-1775 against Russian imperial rule.
The museum exhibits showcase the complex relationships between Russian Cossacks, Kazakh nomads, and other ethnic groups during the revolutionary period.
The museum, established in 1991, provides guided tours in multiple languages and features detailed information panels about the rebellion's strategic developments.
This structure represents one of the few remaining wooden buildings from the 18th century in Kazakhstan where Pugachev organized his revolutionary activities.
