Cambusmore, Category C listed building in Stirling, Scotland.

Cambusmore is a Georgian country house extending along the northern banks of the River Teith, featuring a porte-cochère tower and multiple architectural additions. The building, listed with reference LB8240, sits roughly 1.6 kilometers southeast of Callander and displays the classical features of its period.

The property remained part of Perthshire until 1975, when administrative changes redefined Scottish territorial boundaries. John Michael Baillie-Hamilton Buchanan was recognized as Clan Chief in 2018, taking on the traditional leadership of the house.

The house serves as the seat of Clan Buchanan today, reflecting its role in Scottish family traditions. Visitors can see the connection between the building and the clan's local heritage in how it is used.

As a private residence, visiting requires verifying access conditions and opening times in advance. The building sits in a rural setting with views toward the river, so plan your route ahead of time.

The building sits near several documented archaeological sites, highlighting its historical context within the wider landscape. This proximity to traces of earlier settlement adds another layer of historical importance to the location.
