Tengkangpoche, Mountain summit in Solukhumbu, Nepal.
Tengkangpoche rises to 6,487 meters with a sharp ridge formation and presents technical climbing routes along its north face.
British mountaineers Matt Glenn and Tom Livingstone completed the first ascent of the Northeast Pillar in October 2019, naming their route Massive Attack.
The mountain serves as a training ground for international alpinists who collaborate with local Sherpa communities during climbing expeditions.
Climbers need advanced technical skills and specific permits to attempt the summit, with access through established trails from nearby Sherpa villages.
The north face features the Schachmatt route, established by Ueli Steck and Simon Anthamatten through mixed climbing sections of ice and rock.
