The Yuen Po Street Bird Garden contains 70 stalls selling birds, ornate cages, and accessories along a narrow landscaped pathway with mature trees.
The Land Development Corporation constructed this 3,000-square-meter garden in 1997 to preserve the bird trading tradition from the former Bird Street.
Hong Kong residents gather in the garden to display their songbirds, exchange knowledge about bird care, and participate in singing competitions.
Located near Mong Kok Stadium, the garden opens daily from 7 AM to 8 PM and connects to multiple public transportation options.
The entrance features an intricate stone carving depicting hundreds of birds, while jade blocks throughout the garden showcase different bird poses.
