Fava Beach, Small beach in Vourvourou, Greece.
Fava Beach is a coastal area along eastern Sithonia composed of three distinct sections separated by large rock formations. The shoreline alternates between sand and small pebbles, creating varied conditions for swimming and relaxation.
The beach remained largely unknown to international visitors until the early 2010s. This delayed discovery has allowed the site to maintain its natural character without commercial development.
Local residents frequent this beach area, accessing it through private paths from their clifftop homes while sharing the public trail with visitors.
Parking is available in a tree-shaded lot, but the beach has no facilities, so bring your own supplies and umbrellas. Refreshments and sunscreen should be brought from elsewhere.
The seafloor features varying depths, with shallow sandy areas near shore and deeper zones toward the rock formations. These transitions allow different types of swimming depending on preference and ability.
