Lanterman's Mill, Historic grist mill in Youngstown, United States.
Lanterman's Mill stands three stories tall next to a natural waterfall, using water power to grind grain through traditional millstones.
German Lanterman and Samuel Kimberly constructed the current mill between 1845 and 1846, making it the third mill built on this location.
The mill maintains traditional grain grinding methods from the 1800s, producing fresh cornmeal, wheat flour, and buckwheat flour without preservatives.
The mill operates from May through October, Tuesday to Sunday between 10 AM and 5 PM, with admission fees ranging from $1 to $3.
The mill's water wheel continues to function using the same mechanical principles from the 19th century, powered by Mill Creek's natural water flow.
