Naksan Park, Park in Ihwa-dong, Seoul, South Korea.

Naksan Park is a hillside park in Ihwa-dong, Seoul, featuring walking trails and open green areas spread across sloped terrain. Historic stone walls run along the trails, and several viewing spots offer sightlines toward the city skyline and distant river views.

This site once formed part of the Joseon Dynasty's fortress wall system that protected the old capital city. The stone ramparts from that period remain visible along the park trails, serving as physical reminders of the city's defensive past.

The park sits next to the famous Ihwa Mural Village, where colorful paintings cover building walls and narrow streets, mixing traditional Korean culture with modern art. You can walk through these artistically decorated lanes and see how locals and visitors interact with the creative space.

The park is reachable from two subway stations with various entry points, and the trails are well-marked throughout. Rest areas, exercise equipment, sports courts, and parking spaces make it easy to spend several hours here comfortably.

This park sits on the grounds where a royal dairy operated during the Joseon period, supplying milk to the royal court. Few urban parks in Seoul have such an unusual connection to specialized royal production.
