Wisma Atria, Shopping mall on Orchard Road, Singapore
Wisma Atria is a shopping mall and office tower on Orchard Road in Singapore. The lower floors house shops and restaurants, while the upper floors are used as office space.
The building was completed in 1986, replacing an earlier embassy structure on the site. In 2012, the facade was redesigned as part of a major renovation that gave the building its current look.
The shopping destination mixes global and local brands, featuring restaurants that serve both international cuisine and local flavors, making it a meeting point for shoppers of various tastes.
The mall connects directly to Orchard MRT station through an underground link and is also connected to neighboring malls by covered walkways. Weekdays tend to be noticeably quieter than weekends if you prefer a more relaxed visit.
The building's facade was designed with a goal-post-style frame that produces light effects in the evening, setting it apart from the other buildings along the road. This makes it easy to spot from a distance after dark.
