Museo La Esquina del Juguete popular Mexicano, Traditional toy museum in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
The Museo La Esquina contains five exhibition halls featuring over 3,500 handcrafted Mexican toys displayed across themed sections including food, playhouse items, and fairground pieces.
Founded in 2010, this museum originated from a collection started by a girl from Monterrey whose father brought home various traditional toys over several decades.
Each exhibition room presents different aspects of Mexican childhood traditions through carefully curated displays of handmade toys from various regions of the country.
Located at Núñez 40, the museum welcomes visitors Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sundays from 11 AM to 4 PM with tickets at 80 pesos.
The museum maintains an educational program that includes workshops, guided tours, and special events to demonstrate traditional toy-making techniques from different Mexican regions.
