Valle de Los Senderos, Mixed-use development in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Valle de los Senderos is a mixed-use community development featuring residential neighborhoods, organic gardens, vineyards, and a man-made lagoon with beach facilities. The site spreads across gently rolling land and combines different activities in one location.
The project began in 1984 with a vision for sustainable community living and represented an early approach to mixed-use development in Latin America. This founding idea shaped how the entire site was designed and organized.
The property reflects local design traditions through its architectural choices and dedicated spaces for art events that visitors can explore. These areas draw on Mexican building methods and create opportunities for cultural gatherings.
The location sits a short distance from downtown San Miguel and is easily accessible by car or organized transport. Different areas operate on varying schedules and have different visitor conditions, so checking ahead is helpful.
The location features Manaia, a thermal water facility with a man-made beach and views of the surrounding mountains. This water feature creates its own leisure area within the larger development.
