The complex was built between 2001 and 2003 under a painter's direction to preserve Vietnamese traditions. The project gathered structures and objects from across the country to show these forms of heritage in one location.
The space displays craftsmanship from different ethnic Vietnamese communities through architectural elements and religious objects you encounter while walking around. Visitors can understand how traditional Vietnamese spaces were designed and used for daily life.
The location is roughly one hour by car from Hanoi, making it easily reachable for most travelers. You should allow time to explore the different buildings and exhibition areas at your own pace.
A stone bridge on the grounds is over 500 years old and was reassembled at its new location. This age makes it one of the oldest structures at the property.
