Elisabet Ney Museum, Art museum in Hyde Park Historic District, Austin, United States.
The museum occupies a limestone building featuring high ceilings, large windows, and exhibition spaces displaying sculptures created by German artist Elisabet Ney.
In 1892, sculptor Elisabet Ney established her studio named Formosa in Austin, where she created marble busts of Texas leaders Sam Houston and Stephen F Austin.
The museum maintains the largest collection of Ney's sculptures from the 1850s through 1907, representing influential German and American historical figures.
Located at 304 East 44th Street, the museum offers free admission and opens Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The museum grounds feature a restored prairie landscape with native Texas plants, reflecting the natural environment of late 19th century Austin.

Austin bears no resemblance to any other Texas city. Here, music escapes from bars before dusk, food trucks mingle with concert halls, and parks stretch to the Colorado River. As Texas's capital and self-proclaimed live music capital, the city brings together students, artists, and travelers seeking that unique energy found only here. Between its museums, natural swimming pools, and vibrant neighborhoods, Austin is explored on foot, by bike, or to the sound of a guitar. From Zilker Park to the Capitol, from South Congress to East Sixth Street, each place tells a part of this free and inventive local culture. A city apart, balancing nature, creativity, and the simple pleasure of outdoor living.
