Bangalley Head Walking Track

Bangalley Head Walking Track is a coastal trail through bushland with several lookout areas offering views toward the ocean. The path follows a rocky and stepped route with uneven surfaces throughout its length.

The Northern Beaches Council created this track to protect one of the largest bushland reserves along the coast. The path was established to preserve the native vegetation found in this area.

The track serves as a gathering spot where locals watch migrating whales from the lookout points during winter months as they pass along the coast. Visitors share this experience of witnessing marine life from the clifftop vantage points.

The walking loop takes around 45 minutes to complete and is best done with sturdy footwear. Visitors should be prepared for uneven surfaces and multiple steps along the route.

The location sits at the highest point along Sydney's northern shoreline, with views extending south toward the city and north toward Broken Bay. This elevation provides exceptionally wide views of the coastline in both directions.
