Plage de l'Horizon

Plage de l'Horizon is a beach along the Atlantic coast near Lège-Cap-Ferret, characterized by soft sand and natural dunes. The dune system separates the shoreline from inland areas and helps protect the surrounding landscape.

The beach contains remnants of World War II fortifications built into the dunes as part of the Atlantic Wall defense system. These structures from the 1940s represent an important chapter in the region's military past.
