Pitchoun Forest

Pitchoun Forest is an outdoor recreation area in Villeneuve-Loubet with five tree-top courses that increase in difficulty. Each course has safety equipment and climbing structures designed for children of different skill levels.

Pitchoun Forest was established in the early 2000s as part of regional growth in outdoor educational facilities along the French Riviera. The creation of this space reflects growing interest in engaging children through play-based learning in nature.

The site is open daily for visitors of all kinds. Children need to be able to handle heights comfortably, and it is best to wear weather-appropriate clothes and sturdy shoes for the courses.

The site has about 60 information signs with illustrated quizzes scattered throughout the courses that teach about the trees and nature. Visitors discover facts about the environment as they move through the different levels.
