Zübeyde Hanım Parkı
Zübeyde Hanım Parkı is a public park in the 1. Murat neighborhood of Edirne featuring benches, trees, and open green space for visitors. The location serves as a quiet retreat within the residential area, equipped with basic facilities for sitting and relaxing.
The park was named after Zübeyde Hanım, the mother of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and served for years as a gathering spot for students and neighborhood residents. In the early 2010s, administrative issues prompted the Edirne Municipality to take control and redesign the space to reopen it as a community area.
The park is easily accessible on foot or by car from the surrounding street network and provides an informal spot to rest during a walk through the area. Visitors should check on planned renovation work, as the municipality is currently redesigning the space.
