Ghostly Manor Thrill Center
Ghostly Manor Thrill Center is an amusement park in Perkins Township offering various attractions throughout the year. The facility includes a haunted house with hidden scares, a 3D glow-in-the-dark mini golf course with underwater themes and sunken ships, a skating rink, an XD motion theater with moving seats, a laser maze, escape rooms, and arcade games.
The center opened in September 2001 when founders Bill and Jayme Criscione transformed their Halloween costume idea into a business. Starting as a weekend-only haunted house operation, it has grown over two decades into a year-round amusement facility with multiple entertainment options.
The name reflects the founders' original costume idea that sparked the concept. Today, visitors use the space as a gathering place for seasonal celebrations, especially during Halloween when families and friends come together for spooky experiences and shared moments.
The facility is located near Sandusky, Ohio, about 3 miles (5 km) from Cedar Point, and is easily accessible with flexible hours of operation. Visitors can book birthday parties, reserve visits in advance, and stay for anywhere from an hour to a full day, with admission options available individually or as packages.
Lake Eerie Fearfest is a seasonal event requiring months of planning that reshapes the center each year to surprise Halloween visitors with changing themes. Repeat guests return year after year because the spooky scenes and effects constantly change.
