Luminosity — Ignite the Night!

Luminosity is a nighttime light show at Cedar Point that combines fireworks, lasers, acrobatics, and dance routines into one performance. The production takes place on a three-story stage along the Iron Dragon midway and lasts approximately 25 minutes.

The show debuted in June 2012 as an effort to expand the park's evening entertainment offerings. It became a regular part of the nightly schedule after gaining popularity with visitors.

Dancers and circus performers bring together contemporary and classic music styles synchronized with pyrotechnics and light displays on stage. The mixing of live performance with electronic effects creates a blend that appeals to visitors of different musical tastes.

The performance runs nightly at 9:30 PM from May through August, excluding Tuesdays, with designated VIP seating areas near Celebration Plaza. Arrive early to secure a good viewing spot since crowds gather before the show starts.

Approximately one million LED lights power the entire display with impressive technical capability. An interactive feature allows audiences to text message DJs to request songs during the 25-minute performance, creating a unique connection between viewers and performers.
