Magnum XL-200, Steel hypercoaster at Cedar Point, Ohio, United States.

Magnum XL-200 is a hypercoaster at Cedar Point in Ohio that reaches speeds of 72 miles per hour (116 kilometers per hour) and covers a track length of 5,106 feet (1,556 meters). Multiple drops and airtime moments shape the ride as it winds across the park.

The ride opened on May 6, 1989, becoming the first full-circuit coaster to exceed 200 feet (61 meters) in height. This milestone defined the hypercoaster category within the industry.

The name draws from the popular television series of the time, while XL-200 refers to the ride's great length and height. This naming choice was meant to suggest size and excitement from the moment visitors read it.

Each train holds 36 passengers across six cars arranged in two rows, with three trains in operation. The throughput reaches around 2,000 riders per hour, keeping wait times manageable.

The track passes through three tunnels and a pretzel-shaped turn that crosses Cedar Point Shores waterpark. Riders catch views of Lake Erie and much of the park during the journey.
