Woodstock Express

The Woodstock Express is a steel coaster with green tracks supported by brown columns that reaches 42.7 feet high and spans 1,099 feet of track. It sits within the Camp Snoopy section of the park and provides a gentle ride designed for riders of various abilities.

Cedar Point installed this Vekoma-built steel coaster in 1999 as an addition to its family-friendly attractions. The ride was specifically designed to provide younger guests and families with a safe and enjoyable experience.

The coaster draws its name and theme from the Peanuts comic strip character Woodstock, creating a playful connection that resonates with visitors across multiple generations. This character-based theming helps families share a common reference point during their visit to the park.

Children must be at least 36 inches tall to ride with an adult, while those 48 inches or taller can ride independently. The shortest wait times typically occur in early morning or late afternoon hours when fewer visitors are in the park.

The ride features a 540-degree downward helix followed by a 270-degree helix, reaching speeds of about 28.5 miles per hour during its 66-second journey. These spiral movements and compact duration create an exciting yet manageable first coaster experience for younger or less experienced riders.
