Charles Conrad, a prominent merchant and banker, commissioned architect Kirtland Cutter to construct this residence in 1895 during Montana's economic growth period.
The mansion maintains 90 percent of its original furnishings, including books, china, clothing, and personal items that reflect the lifestyle of wealthy pioneers.
Visitors can explore the mansion through guided tours from Wednesday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with special rates for National Trust members.
The mansion features an advanced electrical system from 1895, incorporating speaking tubes, a call system, and indoor plumbing rare for that time period.
