Bayside Council

Bayside Council covers a 50-square-kilometer area south of Sydney, extending from the suburbs along Botany Bay to the Eastern parts of the metropolis.

The formation of Bayside Council occurred in September 2016 when the New South Wales government combined the City of Botany Bay with the City of Rockdale.

The council organizes regular community events at Mascot Memorial Park, including food festivals that showcase regional products and local entertainment performances.

Residents access municipal services through an online platform that manages waste collection schedules, property rates, and recreational facility bookings.

The council maintains Lady Robinson Beach and operates multiple public spaces across five administrative wards, serving a population of over 174,000 inhabitants.
