La Plage d'Argens

La Plage d'Argens is a campground situated between the Argens River and a sandy beach, offering more than 330 camping pitches and over 200 rental accommodations. The property spans roughly 7 hectares and provides guests with direct access to both waterways.

The campground is positioned along the Argens River, which takes its name from the ancient Roman settlement of Forum Julii, now called Fréjus. This connection to the region's Roman past shapes the site's location and significance.

The campground hosts evening shows and concerts featuring local performers and food tastings of regional dishes throughout the summer months. These gatherings bring visitors together to experience the traditions and flavors of Provence.

To reach the Mediterranean beach, guests walk a roughly 900-meter pedestrian path that passes by wetland areas. The route is flat and well-marked, making it straightforward to reach the shoreline.

The campground operates a water sports center where visitors can rent equipment for paddleboarding and kayaking on both the river and sea. This facility allows guests to explore the water directly from the property.
