Attica Park Aquapolis

Attica Park Aquapolis is a water park near Athens with 17 water slides and 3 swimming pools distributed across different zones with varying difficulty levels. The facility divides into sections for fast rides and family-friendly adventures, with each area having its own infrastructure for water recreation.

The park opened in summer 2020 and was built adjacent to Greece's only zoo, making it a major recreation center for the region. This proximity to an established zoo created natural synergy between two major family attractions.

The name combines the Latin word 'aqua' for water with the Greek word 'polis' for city, reflecting the Mediterranean heritage of the region. Visitors experience this linguistic blend as they move through the park, seeing how the place connects water recreation with urban life.

The park provides sun beds, chairs, parasols, free Wi-Fi, and parking spaces so visitors can spend a full day comfortably. Arriving early in the morning helps secure good seating areas and avoid long waits at slides during hot weather.

The King Cobra water slide is the first of its kind in Greece and features an innovative design with an opening shaped like a snake's mouth. Riders experience an illusion of plunging into the animal's mouth as they travel down, making this slide particularly memorable.
