Great Escape Lodge Indoor Water Park

Great Escape Lodge Indoor Water Park is a covered facility housing multiple water slides, wave pools, and activity areas designed for water play and swimming. The complex spans over 38,000 square feet (3,500 square meters) and maintains warm water temperatures throughout the year.

The water park opened in 2006 as an addition to the Great Escape theme park, introducing year-round swimming options to the area. This addition changed how people in upstate New York could enjoy water activities during colder months.

The water park draws design inspiration from Adirondack mountain traditions, bringing the look and character of the surrounding landscape into the indoor space. The architecture helps visitors feel connected to the natural setting of northern New York.

The water stays warm at around 82 degrees Fahrenheit (28 degrees Celsius) throughout the year, with trained lifeguards positioned at all attractions. Free life jackets in multiple sizes are available to guests of all ages.

The complex features White Water Bay with Tak-It-Eesi-Creek, a lazy river with a 41-foot (12-meter) elevation change that flows through waterfalls. This attraction connects multiple swimming zones within the facility in a way most visitors overlook.
