Dworzec PKP Gdańsk Kokoszki

Kokoszki railway station is a closed facility in Gdańsk that once served as a junction point with a locomotive depot and freight sidings. The site retains its original track layout and station buildings from the early industrial period.

The station began operations in 1921 as a three-way junction connecting routes to Wrzeszcz, Stara Piła, and the newly built line toward Gdynia. Passenger service ceased in 1973 when the airport runway construction made the route obsolete.

The station building represents typical Prussian railway architecture from the early 20th century, with characteristic brick construction and functional design elements.

Though the station is closed to regular traffic, the exterior structures are visible from public areas and the grounds are accessible from nearby streets. Two signal boxes remain on site, with one offering a chance to view interior details.
