Parc national marin de Curieuse

The marine national park is an area with different underwater environments where coral reefs, seagrass beds, and granite rock formations sit in shallow waters. The landscape stretches from Curieuse Island into the surrounding ocean areas and offers varied water settings to explore.

You need a ticket to visit the park, and you can snorkel, kayak, or take a glass-bottom boat tour there. The best time to visit depends on calm waters and good visibility.

Over 500 Aldabra giant tortoises roam freely on the island, especially near ranger stations and through forested areas. These slow-moving giants are easy to spot and shape the island's character in an unforgettable way.
