Spiaggia di Felciaio

Felciaio Beach is a roughly 120-meter stretch of coast divided into two distinct sections by a cliff face, with fine sand mixed with smooth pebbles especially on the eastern side. The rocky formations here create shallow water areas that define the character of this small cove.

The eastern section of this beach features a natural rock formation that has remained largely unchanged over centuries. These geological features have long shaped the structure of this coastal area.

Local people from Capoliveri come here regularly to snorkel and watch marine life along the rocky shores. The small cove draws visitors who want to explore what lies beneath the surface.

The beach can be reached by a roughly 500-meter walking path from the paid parking area on the provincial road between Portoferraio and Porto Azzurro. The final stretch to the water is rocky and uneven, so sturdy footwear is advisable.

The eastern rocky area forms a natural protected pool that remains calm even during rough weather. This feature makes it an ideal spot for snorkeling beginners.
