Spiaggia di Punta Penna is a sandy beach on the Adriatic coast near Vasto with soft sand and clear waters. The shoreline is bordered by natural vegetation and low dunes that remain undeveloped and maintain their wild character.

The area developed in the 19th century alongside the construction of Italy's second tallest lighthouse, which marks the entrance to Porto di Vasto. This lighthouse project transformed the location into a key navigational landmark for ships entering the harbor.

Traditional wooden fishing platforms called trabocchi line the shore, representing methods passed down through generations of local fishermen. These structures remain visible reminders of how people here have worked with the sea for centuries.

The beach has no rental facilities or organized services, so visitors should bring their own umbrellas and supplies. This natural state means fewer crowds and more tranquility, especially outside peak season.

The neighboring Punta Aderci Reserve protects rare coastal plants like Sea Daffodils and electric blue Sea Holly that bloom from May through September. These flowers create a striking natural border alongside the sandy shore.
