Praia de Fragosinho

The beach extends along the Atlantic coast with golden sand areas bordered by natural rock formations that create protected swimming zones.

The beach has maintained its connection to maritime activities since the establishment of fishing communities in Aver-o-Mar during the 19th century.

Local fishermen continue their traditional practices at this beach, launching their boats and collecting seaweed according to generational knowledge.

Visitors can access the beach through Rua Tia Adelina Coelho or Avenida dos Pescadores, with ample parking space in the northern section.

The Ilhéu da Forcada, a small island located 400 meters offshore, creates a distinctive silhouette visible from all points of the beach.
