Praia de Hotel

Praia de Hotel is a sand beach along the Atlantic coast with wide stretches of golden sand sloping gradually into the water. The gentle waves and shallow entry make this a good choice for families and casual swimmers.

This beach developed as a destination during the 1960s when hotels and resort facilities were built along the coast. The area transformed from a quiet fishing village into a popular holiday spot during that period.

Local fishermen maintain their centuries-old traditions by launching their boats directly from the beach, while selling fresh catches to nearby restaurants.

Parking is available along the coastal road with several access points to the beach. Supervised swimming areas operate during the warmer months and basic facilities are in place for visitors.

At low tide, natural rock pools filled with seawater form between the sand and rock formations. These shallow basins appear and disappear daily, creating changing features across the beach.
