Praia de Bocamar

Praia de Bocamar is a sandy beach on the Atlantic coast with rocks running along the northern and central waterline. The southern section offers calmer swimming conditions away from the rocks, while natural dunes shape the shoreline into distinct areas.

Archaeological findings show that people have lived along this coastline for centuries, with ancient settlements leaving traces in the area. Fishing and maritime work have shaped life here for a very long time.
