Cala Saladeta

Cala Saladeta is a small sandy cove on Ibiza's western shore, bordered by rocky cliffs that rise sharply from the water's edge. The beach curves gently into the sea, with fine white sand that transitions quickly to deeper water.

The cove has remained largely untouched by commercial development over many generations, keeping its natural state intact. This lack of change has allowed it to preserve a connection to Ibiza's traditional coastal way of life.

The cove draws visitors from around the world and locals who appreciate its informal character, reflecting the open-minded spirit that defines many Mediterranean beach communities. This relaxed approach to sharing the space shapes how the beach functions day to day.

The cove has no facilities or services, so visitors should bring their own food and water. Access involves a roughly 15-minute walk over rocky terrain from the nearby Cala Salada, requiring sturdy footwear and some caution.

The water temperature shifts noticeably when swimming between this cove and the neighboring Cala Salada, especially near the cliff base where distinct thermal zones form. These changes happen because of how the rocks and seafloor shape the water movement in this area.
