Platja de Punta Prima

Platja de Punta Prima is a sandy beach on Menorca's southeastern shore with clear Mediterranean waters and a gently sloping seabed. The coastline features soft sand and shallow conditions ideal for swimmers of different abilities.

During British rule of Menorca, this location was called Sandy Bay, a name that reflected the colonial period's influence on the island. A lighthouse on the nearby Illa de l'Aire was built in the 1860s and remains an important landmark.
