Platja de Punta Prima

Platja de Punta Prima extends 200 meters in length with white sand and Mediterranean waters along the southeastern coast of Menorca island.

The British named this location Sandy Bay during their rule of Menorca, while a lighthouse constructed in 1860 stands on the nearby Illa de l'Aire.

From its origins as a local Menorcan summer destination, the beach transformed into the main tourist development of Sant Lluís municipality.

The beach provides rental services for sunbeds and umbrellas, with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops located within walking distance.

The waters maintain a moderate depth throughout the swimming area, with a sandy and partially algae-covered seabed stretching toward the small offshore island.
