Professional windsurfing competitions throughout the year bring together international athletes who showcase their abilities on the powerful North Shore waves.

The beach park provides pavilions, picnic tables, barbecue grills, showers, restrooms, and lifeguard services from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM daily.

Hawaiian green sea turtles regularly come ashore to rest on the beach while monk seals occasionally visit the protected shoreline.
