Krasnale Szermierz, Dwarf statue at Old Town, Poland
The Szermierz statue depicts a small bronze dwarf with a fencing sword near the University of Wrocław entrance at 51.1139342, 17.0341979.
The installation of Szermierz on August 3, 2005 marked the beginning of Wrocław's dwarf statues tradition following the Orange Alternative movement.
The Szermierz statue represents one of over 800 dwarf sculptures scattered throughout Wrocław, forming a collection that reflects local heritage.
Visitors can locate the Szermierz statue near an information board after its relocation from the Imperial Gate due to security concerns.
The fencing dwarf statue combines medieval martial arts with contemporary public art, measuring approximately 30 centimeters in height.
