Parc Acrobatique Forestier AYA, Adventure park in Bagnères-de-Bigorre, France
Parc Acrobatique Forestier AYA is a tree-climbing park set among tall beech trees in a valley of the Pyrenees. The facility features eleven different courses with more than 100 games and challenges spread across multiple levels throughout the forest.
The park was established in the early 2000s as one of the first tree-climbing facilities in the Hautes-Pyrenées. This type of venue was relatively new to the region at that time and helped shape how outdoor recreation developed in the valley.
The park shows how people connect with nature through physical play while learning to value the forest. Visitors experience the local woodland during their visit and gain awareness of its importance.
The park is open from April through November and welcomes visitors from age four onwards. Reservations are required outside school holidays, and different courses are designed for various age groups and skill levels.
The park uses a continuous safety line system that keeps visitors connected at all times while they move between platforms. This safety approach sets it apart from many other parks where visitors must disconnect between stations.
