Mirador d'El Fitu

The Mirador del Fito provides a complete 360-degree view of the Asturian coast, mountains, and valleys from its elevated position at 600 meters.

The viewpoint, inaugurated in 1927, was constructed through local community contributions from residents across the Principality of Asturias to enhance regional tourism.

The architectural structure resembles a suspended flying saucer, earning the nickname 'cazu' from local residents due to its distinctive cup-shaped design.

Visitors can access the viewpoint via the AS-260 road between Arriondas and Colunga, with dedicated parking spaces available at the observation point.

From this vantage point, observers can simultaneously view the Sueve Nature Reserve, Ponga Natural Park, and the peaks of Picos de Europa National Park.
