Medusa is a rooftop bar located on the 10th floor of AX ODYCY Hotel in San Pawl il-Baħar. The venue features comfortable indoor spaces and a large outdoor terrace with views of the Mediterranean coastline and the surrounding Qawra area.
The venue opened as part of AX Hotels' expansion into premium hospitality when the hotel complex was completed in the early 2010s. It became one of the first dedicated rooftop bar experiences of its kind in Malta.
The establishment draws inspiration from Greek mythology, with decorative statues and mythological motifs that tell a story. These design elements create an environment where visitors experience a connection to ancient legends.
This venue is restricted to adults aged 18 and above and opens in the evening, making it suited for nighttime visits. Advance reservations are advisable during busy periods and weekends to secure a good spot on the terrace.
The staff occasionally offers mixology workshops where visitors can learn to create their own cocktails. These sessions provide insight into the craft behind the venue's drinks.
