Guyutes
Guyutes is a restaurant and roof terrace bar in Oklahoma City located on top of a building with views over the city. The space is open and naturally bright during the day, while evening lighting creates a warm and inviting atmosphere after dark.
Guyutes was founded three years ago by Jarrod Friedel and Wayne Perotka after Friedel left construction work. The building itself had been part of the city for many years and served different purposes before becoming this restaurant and bar.
The restaurant is named after the Phish song Guyutes, and its walls display more than 100 posters from the band's tours. This musical reference creates a casual space where guests immediately sense a connection to local music culture.
The restaurant is located on NW 23rd Street in the Uptown district and is easy to reach with parking nearby or via ride service. It opens in the morning and stays open until 2 a.m., making it suitable for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late-night bites at any time of day.
The menu features unexpected creations like Tequila Sunfryz topped with pulled pork and tequila cheese sauce, and The Guyute with braised pork belly glazed and served on fried wontons. These unusual flavor combinations transform simple ingredients into memorable dishes that match the memorability of the rooftop view.
