Espaco Porto Cruz is a five-story center with a gourmet restaurant, rooftop terrace overlooking the river, and a specialized wine shop. The building combines modern architecture with informational areas about the Douro region.
The center was founded in 2012 to celebrate Port wine and Portuguese culture. Since then it has become a place where the history and present state of wine production meet.
The space displays contemporary artworks by Portuguese artists and tells the story of Port wine varieties through exhibitions and presentations. Visitors experience how art and wine connect in local culture here.
The center sits along the river and features multiple levels that are easy to navigate. Visitors will find parking on-site and can reach all areas without difficulty.
The center offers interactive stations where visitors receive wine recommendations based on their personal taste preferences. This technological experience combines multimedia with detailed descriptions of different Port wines.
