This multipurpose indoor venue features a seating capacity of 8,500 for sporting events and seated performances, expanding to 10,000 for standing concerts with modern sound and lighting systems.
The arena officially opened in November 2017 with the Unison Celebration Show, following construction that began in April 2015 and cost approximately R4.2 billion to complete.
The venue has hosted significant sporting events including the NBA Africa Game 2018 and the Basketball Africa League 2024, promoting basketball development across the African continent.
Operating hours run Monday through Sunday from 09:00 to 18:00, with most performances scheduled in the evenings, located at 209 Aramist Avenue within the Time Square complex.
The arena received the overall best project award at the 2018 Southern African Institute of Steel Construction Steel Awards for its innovative architecture and international standards.
