Erlebachova bouda, Mountain hut in Špindlerův Mlýn, Czech Republic
Erlebachova bouda is a mountain resort made up of four buildings situated at roughly 1150 meters elevation in the Giant Mountains. The complex provides lodging and dining facilities within a national park setting.
The site began as a traditional resting point for travelers crossing mountain trails and later developed into a modern resort. It continues to serve as a stop along established hiking routes in the Giant Mountains.
The hut serves regional dishes featuring meat from local farms in the surrounding mountains. Visitors can enjoy traditional mountain cuisine in the glass-walled dining space while taking in views of the landscape.
In winter, snowmobiles or motorized scooters are needed to reach the property, as regular vehicle access is blocked by snow. Plan ahead and check conditions before traveling during the colder months.
The property operates two ski lifts: a 300-meter lift for beginners and intermediate skiers plus the longer 1300-meter Davidovky lift for advanced riders. These facilities allow different skill levels to ski directly on the grounds.
