Company E of the 167th Infantry of the Alabama National Guard Armory, Military armory in Guntersville, United States.

Company E of the 167th Infantry of the Alabama National Guard Armory is a limestone structure on a hilltop with two towers flanking the main entrance and castellated exterior design. The building displays masonry details and architectural features typical of 1930s institutional construction.

This structure was built in 1936 as part of the Works Progress Administration, one of 36 facilities created for the Alabama National Guard. The project was part of Depression-era employment programs that funded public construction across the state.

The building became the Guntersville Museum in 2006 and forms the center of a cultural district with a library and community theater nearby. Visitors can explore local history and regional art here, making it an important gathering place in town.

The building sits on Rayburn Avenue and is accessible as the main location of the Guntersville Museum. Regular opening hours allow visitors to explore the exhibits and browse the gift shop with local publications and regional crafts.

Unlike other armories built during this period, this building features a castellated design rather than the Streamline Moderne style that was standard elsewhere. This unusual architectural choice makes it stand out among other Alabama National Guard facilities.
