Boneyard Beach

Boneyard Beach is a coastal section of Big Talbot Island State Park in Florida that stretches about three miles along the shore. The surface is covered with massive pale tree trunks that have fallen from the adjacent bluff through natural erosion.

The landscape formed through centuries of natural coastal erosion, with earth and clay bluffs gradually wearing away. This erosion process exposed and toppled oak and cedar trees, creating the striking appearance seen today.

The site is accessible through a designated parking area, with a short walk from there to the beach. Visitors should wear sturdy footwear because the surface is uneven with logs and obstacles that require careful footing.
